Fabulously French!

Good morning!! If you have been following my blog for any reasonable amount of time, you know I am totally enamored with all things French. Particularly French decor, French architecture, French colors, French history. And then there is of course the gastronomic world of French food. Oh and the gorgeous language of France. And how could I leave out French fashion!! You get my point, every thing about France is just heavenly at least in my humble opinion and there are TOO MANY to list them all!  French decor is a huge inspiration to me and will continue to be as we finally move into the stages of planning out the decor for our new French inspired home.
I appreciate all aspects of French design from the most rustic, farm/country look that is so popular today all the way to the most formal and opulent castle worthy decadence (though not for me personally). Much to their credit, the French have great design nailed!
I have a huge collection of photos, way too many to put into one post but today is my ode to all the fabulousness that is French. Whether its a French chair, or a certain color palette, gorgeous paneling in a French style, whatever it might be that struck me, here is some of the inspiration I have gotten from beautiful French decor. What are your thoughts? Are you a fellow Francophile or do you like just bits and pieces? Is there any French influence in your home? Love to know!
