Art is something one should never feel bad about buying. It is also one of the few things in life that appreciates in value - and who doesn't need a little bit of that! Nevertheless, not all of us are in the spot to make an investment right now, but these lovely works are affordable! ...and my favorite makeover (sorry, I couldn't find the before photo), is a shabby-chic room made from mismatched furniture and accessories from the inhabitant's previous college dorm.
