From Happy Mundane - if you're tired of the same-old, same-old, this is your blog.

What a nice place to eat blueberry pancakes on a Saturday morning.

I really like the industrial edge brought in by the filing cabinet as the end table!

Gorgeous inspiring images from my favorite blogs

I thought I'd pick up where I left off and continue with installments of "Favorite Images from my Favorite Blogs." I started this feature because I realized that as a blogger, I rarely had the time to peruse the blogs that inspired me to start blogging, or that I'd discovered while blogging. I hope you enjoy and that it ads a little brightness to your holiday weekend!...

To begin, images from Pink Wallpaper

...no words...
again, no words...

I really like this chair - which I think is from Anthropologie...but I just don't know if I'd have the discipline to keep everything else in the room complementary

Next, a newly discovered blog for me- Loftlife Magazine

Liking the touches of glamour pared down with clean lines in this bedroom

Have you ever tried arranging your books by color like on this shelf?

Last but not least, Deco & Design

All these images are so serene...

Hope you enjoyed these and have a great holiday weekend!

My favorite part of this image - the closet. One day - one day.

Organized shelves like these make me swoon.

These dreamy images are from Mochatini.
What a great way to dine.

Last but not least, Katy Elliot's blog

I can't wait until I have a living room big enough that I can actually but a table behind my couch.

Brighten up your Monday - favorite images from my favorite blogs

Today is just a blah Monday and the weather outside is far from inspiring. I thought I'd do another installment of "Favorite Images from my Favorite Blogs." I started this feature because I realized that as a blogger, I rarely had the time to peruse the blogs that inspired me to start blogging, or that I'd discovered while blogging. I hope you enjoy and that it ads a little brightness if it's gloomy where you are like it is here...

Gotta love Swedish style

This bit of heaven on earth is Lake Como, Italy
Images above from the lovely, La Dolce Vita

I want a kitchen that gets such great light - maybe it would help me wake up in the mornings

Great sconces on either side of the bed...
The three above images are from the inspiring, Cococozy.

Take a look at the room above again. It doesn't jump out at you at first but I think that's why it's so great. This room is so serene and calm. Personally I find it very hard to feel relaxed, or focus and get any work done, if a room is cluttered. I feel like in this room I could either completely clear my mind, and/or really focus on the task at hand. Beautiful.
