Gorgeous nature-inspired decor - vases, illuminaries, tealights, etc.

0
My trip to Boston in February left me with tons of inspiration and business cards from the plethora of adorable shops and boutiques. One of those shops was E.R. Butler & Co.; known for it's fine architectural details, but what made my jaw drop was the beautiful porcelain treasures and jewelry. Here are a few of my favs. -

The Ted Muehling pieces were simply amazing - the candlesticks, and the exceptionally delicate porcelain vases and candle holders. I'm especially drawn to objects with elements taken from nature - so the "coral" luminaries and tulip tea light especially.

They also have a lot of unique, and stunning jewelry like these cuffs by Darcy Miro.

The Boston showroom.

E.R. Butler also has showrooms in NYC and Florence. See the site for details.
I want to thank Nina, at E.R. Butler, who was super helpful and enthusiastic to answer questions during my visit. It's always great to meet someone passionate about what they do!

My dream first day of spring outfit

I'm sitting here watching another 18" of snow fall on the 24" we received here in MD on Saturday. I'm just itching for that first day when it's 55 degrees - but I'll still be out there in a t-shirt just to feel some sun on my arms. Anyway, it's not going to be t-shirt weather anytime soon, but a girl can still dream!

I seriously might order those shoes - and that dress is adorable. What's great is this stuff is all affordable! It's also all from a really cute shop I just discovered (via Country Living's Bargain issue), called Lulus.

Bangles = $24
Dress= $45
Shoes = $85
Jacket= $40
Earrings= $17

Gorgeous, Glamorous, and Casual!

A casual base with touches of glamor is how I prefer to dress - on the rare occurrence that I leave my house and need to look presentable. On the farm I spend my days in old jeans and sweaters because I don't worry about them getting muddy or ripped or succumbing to any other sort of farm-induced damage. But, every now and then I need to feel like a girl again and get a little dressed up and go out. I've liked Ann Taylor Loft for a long time, and I've really been liking their Holiday '09 collection.

The plum of this scarf is my new favorite color. I thought this tweed jacket was really cute, too.

They have so many soft sweaters in their "lounge" line, I would wear them throughout the day even when I wasn't lounging

Some cute looks from their lookbook

Unfortunately a lot of the cute stuff I saw in their store is nowhere to be found on their site

What do you think of Ann Taylor Loft?

Oh, a girl can dream.

And dream in sparkles I will! I would not be in the least bit mad if someone got me this bit of beautiful for Christmas! Nope. Not mad at all :)

The shamelessly feminine Chanel Camilla Ring. Oh my.

*sigh*
